Water Pump Starter:

The heater portion of the starter had a reading of 188.7°F. The pump was also very hot, indicating that it is in need of servicing.

RECOMMENDATIONS: The load on the starter should be checked to determine if it is within acceptable limits. If the load is not excessive then the starter is not functioning properly and should be replaced. The pump bearings and pump motor should also be serviced to reduce the load drawn by the motor.
